“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
II Timothy 1:7
Fear will paralyze God given visions and dreams.
Fear is the first negative emotion we find in the Bible. After Adam sinned against God, He went to look for him and Adam answered Him: “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid (fear).”
God given dreams need action, devotion, and unwavering faith.
Fear blocks us from faith and keeps us rooted to what keeps us afraid. As we loosen those chains through prayer and the word, we free up a space for faith to shine its light.
We can use each worry, failure, and misjudgment to move us forward valiantly instead of paralyzing us. We can implicitly trust in our God given vision and all the promises of God that we have stored in the deepness of our soul.
We will never know the full power of our faith until it has been worked through by adversity, loss, and difficulty.
We are made stronger through our fears, wiser from our mistakes, and braver after our battles. We can choose faith over fear.
Have blessed week.
