2021-07-19 WHO SPEAKS INTO YOUR LIFE? - Weekly Devotional from Rev. Limones

"Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." Proverbs 11:14

God often uses holy vessels, wise people to speak into our lives. God can use your Pastor or your mom or dad or some brother or sister in the church to get a message to you. The question is, are you listening? Are you tuned in to the wisdom and possible voice of God through others?

1. Everyone has the potential to teach you something.

If you begin to open your ears and heart to the interactions you have, it may change your life. Highly successful people always have a group of advisors that speak into their lives and situations.

  • If you are going to maximize your potential, it will always involve others.

  • You can't become all that God created you to be without others helping you.

  • We were created for community and conversation.

2. Have the right people speaking the right things into your life.

Make sure you surround yourself with Godly people who have your best interest in mind, those who can be honest and bold with you.

  • Pull away from negative, carnal people that surface the worst in you and not the best.

3. Who are your go-to people? Who is in your counsel?

  • You should have at least 2-3 people who have a voice of influence and wisdom in your life.

  • Make sure you intentionally seek out the right people.

  • Don't be a "lone wolf" trying to make it on your own; You need others to help you identify and clarify your future.

  • Most people do not have enough advice in their lives. They have acquaintances but not advisors. This lack of advisors is why so many people remain bound in their fears, circumstances, and issues.

  • Having advisors or mentors can be a game-changer for your future.

CONCLUSION: If you begin to surround yourself with those who can lift you and hold you accountable, you'll experience greater opportunities and more significant progress and blessings in your life. Have a Blessed Week, Pastor (Rev. Limones)
