"And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing."
~Genesis 12:2
As apostolic believers and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we believe that our God is a God of abundance, and He desires to bless us in all areas of our lives. However, sometimes we limit ourselves by thinking too small and not trusting God for more significant opportunities. We forget that with God, nothing is impossible, and He can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Throughout the Bible, we read about people who trusted God for larger opportunities. God came through for them, fulfilling their needs and even exceeding them:
Abraham believed in God for a child in his old age, and God blessed him with not only one but two sons.
Moses trusted God to deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, and God set them free, providing for them in the wilderness.
David believed in God for victory over the giant Goliath, and God gave him the strength to overcome and become King.
Trusting God for larger opportunities requires us to step out of our comfort zones and take risks.
We must be patient and persevere in our faith, even when the larger opportunities we trust God for don't materialize immediately. We must remain steadfast in our belief and trust that God's timing is perfect, and He will provide at the ideal time.
It's essential to have patience and perseverance in our faith, even when the larger opportunities we expect from God don't materialize immediately. We must remain steadfast in our belief and trust that God's timing is impeccable and that He will supply us with precisely what we require at precisely the right moment.
We must also remember that the ultimate objective in trusting God for larger opportunities isn't solely personal gain but to bring honor and glory to God.
As we achieve success in our endeavors, we must leverage our blessings to serve and bless others while also sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those around us. We are blessed to be a blessing.
Never limit yourself by thinking too small or doubting God's ability to provide larger opportunities for your life. Trust in God's promises, step out in faith and persevere through the process. With God on our side, we can achieve more than we ever imagined and bring glory to His name.
Have a blessed week,
Pastor (Rev. Elias Limones)
